  • Spacious room, walking distance from town centre, great views of the lake, nice park across the road, Foxtel and good wifi in room a short drive to Pumphouse restaurant which honoured 10% discount coupon offered by hotel. Hard to fault.

  • The exterior matches the interior - clean, organized, well-spaced. We had a one bedroom apartment, there is interior and exterior shower, toilet, wide dressing room, queen-sized bed, a well-stocked kitchen area with dining set, a TV with all channels and services for you to stay put with and not wanting to leave the room for a hot humid 38, spacious with sofa and table, proper lighting. The garden is landscaped and well maintained and the pool is big enough. There are books and videos to be rented from the front desk, as well as tour information. The parking area is all sheltered. Free laundry machines and dryers. All's good and voted one of the best.

  • We booked a 3 bedroom apartment for a week in Kununurra. Freshwater apartments are excellent quality, very comfortable, & equipped with everything we could possibly need. The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms were spacious, (separate toilet in both main & en-suites ) & spotlessly clean. We had a large balcony with a table that could seat 6, where we enjoyed breakfast each morning. The surrounds are quiet & peaceful, with bird calls & beautiful boab trees ( amongst others) on the property. There is an on-site laundry, equipped with modern washers & dryers, free to use for all guests. The freshwater pool is delightful, & surrounded with a tropical garden, & undercover of shadecloths & great to jump into after a hot day of having fun in the Kimberley. The staff were very welcoming & helpful throughout our stay. I can recommend this property wholeheartedly & will stay here again if I return to Kununurra (I hope I do, because Kununurra is a gem)

  • "This would have to be one of the better places we have stayed at in Australia, certainly in the top 2%. We opted for the deluxe room, which cost a bit more but just amazing. Loved the outdoor shower and bath. Fully equipped kitchen was just fantastic. Step outside and you've got a wonderful resort pool. Beautifully maintained gardens. So so relaxing. Reception staff we friendly and helpful. I wouldn't consider looking anywhere else for accommodation in Kununurra. Will definitely stay again!"

  • Stayed 3 nights while in town for work. The rooms were massive, to go along with the massive apartment. Bed was comfortable, pool and bbq area looked pretty good. A short walk next door to the pub for dinner. One of the best motels I’ve stayed in around the country.

  • "We booked a 2 bedroom apartment. It was MASSIVE. After camping on the Gibb River Road, this place was heaven. Modern, spacious, clean, good wi-fi, contemporary design, comfy beds, quiet air conditioning. Loved it. Staff at reception were helpful and friendly. The garden and surrounds are very well maintained, luscious lawns and a beautiful pool. The laundry was also really good - excellent washing machines (that actually cleaned the clothes, unlike many machines in communal laundries). There was no charge to use the machines, and detergent was provided. Our apartment was also a 'universal design' apartment - it was fully accessible to people with disability. We do not have disability, but Freshwater get a big tick for their inclusive design."
